Class Schedule: First and Third Sunday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
R.C.I.C. Adapted for Kids is a sacramental preparation program designed for children past the age of 8 who are not yet baptized.
After completing this program, children will receive the sacraments of Baptism and First Communion.Class Schedule:
1st and 3rd Sunday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
What ages participate in RCIC?
RCIC is a program for children between the ages of 7 or above.
(RCIC is typically for children between the ages of 7-15 ) who have not been baptized or who are baptized in another Christian denomination. It is also for older children who are baptized in the Catholic faith but were never prepared for Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation.- What is required of a child in RCIC?
The expectation is that the child and his or her parent(s) will attend Mass on a weekly basis. - The child is also expected to actively participate twice a month in RCIC classes.
- The parent(s) will meet with Director of Religious Education as needed.
- All children will need a godmother, godfather or sponsor who is an active member in the Catholic Church (either in Presentation Parish or another parish).
- The godparent(s) or sponsor must be at least 16 years of age.
- Confirmed in the Catholic faith.
- Must be present at the Easter Vigil.
